SETTING UP YOUR CASSETTE

EASY TO SET UP

1. Pull film evenly out of refill.
2. Gather film together and push through.
3. Remove lid from base of unit.
4. Tie knot in film.
5. Use hook to secure knot.
6. Replace lid on base of unit.

EASY TO USE

1. Open lid ready for first nappy.
2. Push nappy until gripped.
3. Twist 360° clockwise until nappy is sealed.
4. Nappy is gone!
5. Plunge lid onto twisted film.
6. Fresh film is ready for next nappy.

EASY TO EMPTY

1. Remove lid from base unit.
2. Unhook knot and drop into base.
3. Pull additional film through to cut.
4. Use cutter blade to cut film.
5. Tub is ready to empty.

WARNING! The cutter blade is very sharp. Keep hands clear of the blade area and be very careful when cutting the film.

Do I need to clean my Tommee Tippee Simplee nappy bin?

Nappies are sealed away in film, so the bin stays pretty clean. But you can always wash with soapy water or use bicarbonate of soda in the unlikely event it gets smelly. Simply sprinkle it liberally into the bin, leave overnight, then rinse with water. That will soon shift any undesirable odours.

What cassette should I be using for my Tommee Tippee Simplee nappy bin?

Our specific Tommee Tippee Simplee refill cartridge is the one you need. You can buy these in packs of 1 or 3.

How long will the Tommee Tippee Simplee refill cartridge last?

That depends on how often you change your little one’s nappy, and the size you’re using. The refill cartridge holds up to 180 nappies so if you make around 10 changes a day, you’ll get about 18 days out of each cartridge. That’s based on using size 1 nappies (2-5kg).

Can the refill cartridges be recycled?

Absolutely! The cartridges can be recycled in your normal household plastic recycling.

My refill cartridge has run out quicker than you’ve said?

Sorry about that, we try to be as accurate and realistic as possible in our usage guidelines, but they are just a guide. It’s worth checking how much film you’re pulling through when you install the cartridge. You only need about 30cm. We’re pretty certain that a single cartridge can handle 180 size 1 nappies; but as you start using larger nappies, they need more film to wrap – so you’ll go through your cartridge a bit quicker.
